IncidentSJSU Professor Persis Karim, who has publicly declared her animosity towards the Jewish state of Israel and participated in efforts to harm it, organized a workshop through the SJSU Middle East Studies Program for teachers and professors on, “how to educate students about the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.”

AMCHA’s Response: Prior to the workshop we contacted SJSU’s President Qayoumi asking him to look into this workshop and to ensure that all future SJSU sponsored events avoid engaging in advocacy and partisanship.
