11/15/15 – A rash of antisemitic stickers and flyers swept through campus November 15 – November 18, 2015. On November 15, Central Florida Future newsstand near Tower IV was defaced with a sticker that showed the Star of David and the words “1%” and “Bankers” underneath, and a second sticker that had a swastika on a flag with a message calling for an Israel boycott. The same day, a residence assistant for on-campus housing reported antisemitic vandalism on her building’s bulletin board where one sticker had a swastika and the others contained the phrases “Muh Holocaust” and “Truth is Treason In the empire of lies.” Also that same day, an officer responded to a call about antisemitic stickers placed on a community mailbox on Libra Drive. Earlier that day, a sticker with a Star of David and the phrase “1 percenters” was found on a street sign near the intersection of East Plaza Drive and Gemini Boulevard.
4/6/16 – In honor of “Israeli Apartheid Week,” SJP hosted a forum entitled, “Palestinian Rights and the Impact of Occupation.” During the panel one speaker called for the one state solution which would deny Jews self-determination, stated Israel has created “the largest humanitarian crisis” and that “Palestinians are being ethnically cleansed,” and further claimed there is enormous Zionist political influence. Another speaker defined Zionism as racism. Three speakers additionally called for BDS.
DELEGITIMIZATION 3/24/15 – UCF SJP built a large “mock Separation Wall” as part of “Israeli Apartheid Week.” An announcement of the event said that its purpose was “to shed light upon Israel’s apartheid policies towards Palestinians.”

The Orlando Sentinel reports that the flyers showed a white man and woman with a heading that said, ‘We have the right to exist,’ along with another that showed a white man in handcuffs with the caption, ‘white guilt.’ The flyers were located near the Student Union building plus various parking garages and classroom buildings…The school’s Jewish student group, the Central Florida Hillel, posted on Facebook a call for students ‘to report racism, xenophobia and discrimination,’ Knight News reports. ‘Central Florida Hillel (CFH) was disheartened to see these posters on campus today,’ the post stated. ‘While we respect everyone’s constitutional right to free speech, particularly speech that we disagree with, we are concerned that the messages in these posters could lead to divisiveness and hatred on campus.’ American Vanguard, an ‘alt-right’ account, responded to UCF Hillel with a statement on Twitter that said, ‘We never said anything about hate, but if you deny us our right to exist, you are an enemy that must be defeated.’” The account claimed credit for placing the flyers on campus, Knight News added.”)
