9/28/17 – SJP distributed a pamphlet on campus which, according to Hillel Milwaukee, “mocked Hillel, Jewish students and [a] pro-Israel program. The pamphlets contained a cartoon strip that used classic anti-Semitic stereotypes to depict Jewish students on campus and mocked them for promoting open discourse, coexistence, and peace.”
3/25/16 – An antisemitic flier was distributed to networked printers and fax machines at two locations on campus. The flier had swastikas and said, “White Man are you Sick and Tired of the Jews Destroying Your Country through Mass Immigration and Degeneracy? Join Us in the Struggle for Global White Supremacy at the Daily Stormer.”
ANTISEMITIC EXPRESSION: DELEGITIMIZATION 3/27/18 – SJP erected a mock “apartheid wall” on campus as part of “Israeli Apartheid Week.” Behind the wall, a large banner advertising “Israeli Apartheid Week” hung.
12/12/17 – SJP Milwaukee, in conjunction with SJP Marquette, hosted a presentation in Union Fireside Lounge on campus on Jerusalem. One student held a sign saying, “Stop the Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine.” Another held up an image of all of Israel with a red dot and arrows pointing at the red dot saying, “Capital of Palestine…Jerusalem.” The lack of boundaries indicated that all of Israel was Palestine, denying Jews the right to self-determination.
5/3/17 – SJP protested Israeli Independence Day with a “die-in” and signs saying, “Celebrating Genocide,” and “Stop the Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine.”
DEMONIZATION 5/9/16 – SJP posted an image on instagram that demonized Israel, insinuating that Israel massacred Palestinians of Gaza against a wall while others watched.
4/26/16 – SJP held “Israeli Apartheid Week 2016.” The advertisement for the week demonized Israel with false accusations of apartheid as well as support for BDS, stating that the purpose of the week was “to raise awareness about Israel’s apartheid policies towards Palestinians and to build support for the growing nonviolent Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaign.”
10/28/15 – Students for a Democratic Society organized an anti-Israel rally that involved students marching through the university’s student union chanting “Israel, Israel what do you say, how many kids have you killed today?” and “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!”
BDS ACTIVITY: CALLS FOR BDS 4/27/16 – As part of “Israeli Apartheid Week”, SJP tabled on campus. A poster in front of the tables read, “Boycott Sabra Hummus. Free Hummus Here”.
